Dr S Talha Ahsan is Associate Professor and current Head of Dept. of Electrical Engineering at UIT University. He did his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Electronics) from UET Lahore in 1993. After working in industry, he went to USA and completed MS in Electrical Engineering (Communication and Signal Processing) from The Ohio State University in 1996. Dr Talha joined Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) in Jan 1997, where he was also given responsibility of Head of Electronic Engineering Dept. during 2000-2003. In Aug 2004, Dr Talha became associated with Bahria University Karachi Campus. In Jan 2007, he went on HEC’s 10 % overseas Scholarship to University of Manchester UK for PhD. He joined back Bahria University after completion of his PhD in 2010, and served as Head of Dept. of Electrical Engineering during 2010-2013. Dr Talha served in DHA Suffa University during 2013-2014, where he was also Head of Dept. of Electrical Engineering. In 2014, he joined back Usman Institute of Technology (UIT).
