Dr. Farhan Ahmed Karim and Team Represent UIT University at IEEE YESIST12 2024 Grand Finale in Tunisia
UIT University takes pride in announcing that Dr. Farhan Ahmed Karim, an esteemed faculty member of the Micro Electronics Research Lab (MERL), represented the university at the IEEE YESIST12 2024 Grand Finale in Tunis Science City, Tunisia.
Dr. Farhan, accompanied by his talented team members—Ms. Nida Fatima, Ms. Sawera Fazal, and Ms. Tayyaba Anwer—made significant contributions at this prestigious event. Dr. Farhan received a token of appreciation for his mentorship of the innovative project titled "An Automated Data Cleaning Pipeline with Generative AI for Medium," which garnered attention for its relevance in advancing AI-based data management solutions.
Remarkably, Dr. Farhan was the only Assistant Professor from Pakistan selected to participate in a special track at this international conference, underscoring his expertise and leadership in the field.
The event in Tunisia brought together the best minds in technology and innovation, highlighting the significant global role of young engineers and researchers, and UIT University is proud of Dr. Farhan’s achievements in this elite arena.
