UIT University (UITU) is one of the most exciting places for students keen on making a difference. Our programs have received the highest levels of accreditation from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). Many of our 4000 alums have progressed to leadership positions in technology and other fields worldwide.

To provide the best training to our students, we continuously train our faculty members using “Conceive, Design, Implement, and Operate (cdio.org),” an innovative educational framework for producing the next generation of engineers.

Our initiatives and efforts have been recognized in Pakistan and, more recently, around the world. We are amongst the top in terms of the number of final-year projects financed by IGNITE (formerly ICT R&D Fund). In addition, we have the Micro Electronic Research Lab, which makes us the leading institute in Pakistan in open-source computer chip design initiatives.
