UIT University (UITU), established under The UIT University Act, 2017 [Sindh Act No. XXXIV of 2018], is a testament to our commitment to providing quality education. UITU received the NOC from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in 2021. Our academic programs are duly accredited by regulatory bodies including PEC, NCEAC, and NTC. UIT University is a project of Usman Memorial Foundation (UMF). UMF was established in 1973 with the objective to establish a state-of-the-art educational project to meet the ever growing education needs of the society. The University’s city campus is located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal whereas a purpose built main campus in the District Malir is in the phase of development.

The University is the culmination of three decades of progressive and successful operation of the Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) which was established in the year 1994. UIT has provided more than 5,000 graduates serving governments, industries, trades and businesses as professionals, experts and entrepreneurs within the country and abroad.
