Overview

UIT University (UITU) invites applications for the position of “Director Admissions & External Affairs” who will be responsible for leading the University’s efforts in admissions, marketing, corporate relations, and continuing education. This role ensures the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance the University’s visibility, enrollment, industry partnerships, and community engagement. The incumbent will align outreach, communication, and collaboration efforts with the University’s mission and strategic goals, driving growth and institutional advancement.

The incumbent will oversee student recruitment, marketing campaigns, corporate partnerships, industry collaborations, and continuing education programs, ensuring consistent and impactful stakeholder engagement. The role demands a visionary leader with strong strategic planning, team management, and relationship-building capabilities. S/he will report directly to the Vice-Chancellor and work closely with academic and administrative leadership to align external engagement efforts with the University’s strategic objectives.

Responsible For
  • To develop and implement a strategic plan for Admissions and External Affairs aligned with the University’s vision and goals.
  • To lead marketing and branding initiatives to promote the University’s programs and activities.
  • To oversee the entire admissions process, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and a student-friendly experience.
  • To establish and maintain partnerships with industries for student internships, job placements, and faculty collaborations.
  • To collaborate with academic departments to align continuing education programs with market needs and institutional objectives.
  • To manage the development and dissemination of promotional materials, digital content, and publications.
  • To organize recruitment drives, open houses, and campus tours to increase student enrollment.
  • To conduct market research and data analysis to refine outreach and engagement strategies.
  • To supervise and mentor teams across marketing, admissions, corporate liaison, and continuing education.
  • To organize industry networking events, career fairs, workshops and outreach activities.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory policies and maintain high-quality standard.
  • To monitor budget planning and execution for all admissions and external affairs activities.
  • To represent the University in industry forums, business associations, and educational conferences.

Qualification & Experience Requirements
  • Preferably, Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Public Administration, or a related field from HEC recognized university.
  • Must have 6-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, admissions, corporate relations, or continuing education, preferably in the higher education sector.
