Good Health and Well Being
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
SDG Goal 3, “Good Health and Well-Being” aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. This goal encompasses a wide range of health priorities, including reducing maternal and child mortality, ending epidemics of major infectious diseases, reducing non-communicable diseases, and promoting mental health. It also emphasizes the importance of universal health coverage, access to quality essential health-care services, and access to safe, effective, quality, and affordable essential medicines and vaccines. Achieving SDG Goal 3 requires collaborative efforts to strengthen health systems, improve health financing, and address health inequities to build a healthier future for everyone.
