The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), established under the PEC Act 1976, is the statutory apex body for regulating the engineering profession in Pakistan. In pursuit of our vision to support national development through engineering excellence, PEC is launching the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Placement Programβa flagship initiative aimed at enhancing the employability of fresh engineering graduates across the country.
Under this PEC-funded program, selected graduates will be placed with public and private sector organisations for a structured six-month training period, comprising five months of practical field exposure and one month of skills development. Each trainee will receive a monthly stipend, fully funded by PEC.
The Program Campaign for Graduate Engineers of the year 2024 & 2025 will be tentatively launched in October 2025. To be eligible for participation in the GET Placement Program, graduates must be registered as Registered Engineer. In this regard, the HEIs are requested to display the enclosed advertisement and flyer on their notice boards to ensure the timely dissemination of the registration deadlines to the concerned graduates.
