Ms. Nuzhat Raza

Senior Librarian & Head of Library

Nuzhat Farzana is a distinguished library and information professional with more than 25 years of progressive experience in academic librarianship, library leadership, digital transformation, knowledge management, and research support services. As the Senior Librarian and Head of the Library & Learning Resource Centre at UIT University, she provides strategic leadership in developing modern library services that foster academic excellence, research, innovation, and lifelong learning.

During her tenure at UIT University, she has successfully transformed the Library & Learning Resource Centre into a modern, technology-enabled knowledge hub, leading the implementation of the Koha Integrated Library System (ILS) and spearheading the development and launch of the UIT University Digital Library Portal.

Under her leadership, the UIT University Library continues to evolve as a Centre of Excellence, supporting interdisciplinary research, innovation, and academic success while contributing to the University’s vision of becoming a leading institution of higher education.
