Faculty Profile

Engr. Asif Hussain has developed a balanced career that combines both academia and industry experience. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Usman University in Karachi, Pakistan. He joined the institution in September 2012 as a Lecturer and was promoted to Assistant Professor in November 2014.

He has been actively involved in conducting laboratory sessions, emphasizing practical learning, alongside contributing to administrative and student support activities, including managing course documentation and serving as a class advisor to guide and support senior students in resolving both academic and personal challenges.

Before fully transitioning into academia, he gained valuable industry experience in telecommunications and IT infrastructure, giving his teaching a strong grounding in real-world networking and communication systems.
