UIT University warmly welcomed its New Batch 2026 at an engaging *Orientation Session*, marking the beginning of a new chapter for students as they embark on their university journey.

The orientation was designed to introduce new students to the University’s academic environment, programs, facilities, student services, and learning opportunities, while providing them with the information and guidance needed to begin their university experience with confidence.

The Vice Chancellor of UIT University welcomed the incoming students and shared the University’s vision, while encouraging them to make the most of their academic journey and actively work towards their personal and professional development. The session highlighted the importance of setting academic and career goals, developing new skills, and making meaningful use of the opportunities available at university.

Dr. Kashif Mehmood, Provost & Dean, Faculty of Computing Sciences, introduced students to the University’s learning environment, facilities, academic resources, and opportunities available to support their educational and professional growth.

Deans from the respective academic departments provided an overview of their degree programs, academic pathways, curriculum, learning opportunities, and potential career directions, helping students gain a clearer understanding of their chosen fields of study and what to expect during their university journey.

The Registrar’s Office, IT Department, and Library also participated in the orientation, introducing students to essential university services, digital resources, academic support, library facilities, and other resources available to help them navigate campus life effectively.

The orientation session provided an opportunity for the new students to become familiar with the University’s academic and administrative structure, connect with faculty and university representatives, and gain valuable guidance as they begin their studies at UIT University.
