As part of its commitment to experiential and industry-focused education, the Department of Management & Social Sciences at UIT University organized an educational industry visit to Sardar International Knitwear Garments Company for students enrolled in the Experiential Knowledge course.

The visit provided students with valuable firsthand exposure to the operational dynamics of Pakistan’s textile and garment manufacturing sector, one of the country’s most significant contributors to economic growth and exports. Through guided tours and interactive sessions, students gained practical insights into garment production processes, quality assurance standards, packaging operations, supply chain management, and workplace best practices.

The industry visit served as an important learning opportunity, enabling students to observe real-world business operations and understand the practical application of concepts studied in the classroom. By engaging directly with industry professionals, students developed a deeper understanding of manufacturing workflows, operational efficiency, quality management, and organizational practices within a professional environment.

Such experiential learning initiatives play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. They help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, professional awareness, and career readiness while strengthening the connection between higher education and industry expectations.

UIT University remains committed to providing students with meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Through industry visits, professional engagement activities, and experiential learning programs, the university continues to prepare graduates with the knowledge, skills, and practical exposure needed to succeed in today’s competitive professional landscape.

UIT University extends its sincere appreciation to the management and team of Sardar International Knitwear Garments for their warm hospitality and for sharing valuable industry knowledge with our students. Such collaborations contribute significantly to strengthening industry-academia linkages and enriching student learning outcomes.
