Faculty Profile

Engr. Aurangzeb Ansari is a dedicated academic and engineering professional with over two decades of teaching experience in higher education. With a strong background in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, he has developed extensive expertise in delivering outcome-based education (OBE), designing lab-oriented courses, and integrating practical and industry-relevant knowledge into engineering curricula.

Currently serving as a Permanent Faculty Member at UIT University, Karachi, he is actively involved in teaching engineering-based courses in undergraduate programs and associated laboratory courses, as well as courses in the Computer Science department. His teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning, problem-based instruction, and the application of theoretical concepts through simulation tools such as MATLAB and hardware-based implementations.

Beyond teaching, he has actively contributed to organizing academic activities such as project exhibitions, community service programs, student personality development sessions, and experiential learning, successfully managing large student cohorts and promoting collaborative and inquiry-based learning environments.

A strong advocate of continuous learning and academic excellence, Engr. Ansari is committed to preparing students for the evolving demands of industry and research, with professional interests including AI-driven education, engineering design, and the development of industry-aligned curricula that bridge the gap between academia and practice.
