Faculty Profile

Farhat Hasnain Naqvi is a registered Electronic Engineer and academic professional with over two decades of experience spanning higher education, electronics engineering, embedded systems, and industrial research and development. He is currently serving as a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Sciences at UIT University, Karachi, where he delivers laboratory courses, mentors final-year projects, and organizes workshops and seminars.

Prior to his current role, he served UIT University as a Laboratory Engineer for nearly eight years. His professional career also includes experience in the United Kingdom and Pakistan, covering embedded firmware development, electronic queue-management systems, crystal-growth technology, and research and development.

He also provides technical consultancy in low-cost embedded product development, combining his academic and industrial experience to contribute to practical engineering education and technology development.
