Faculty Profile

Fizzah Sohail is an academic and technology professional with experience in higher education, software engineering, cybersecurity automation, machine learning, image processing, and telecommunications. She is currently serving as a Lecturer at UIT University, where she delivers lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate courses in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, and related disciplines.Prior to joining UIT University, Ms. Sohail gained professional experience in software engineering. At Vital Analytics, she works as a Senior Python Engineer, where her responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable APIs using FastAPI and Django REST Framework, developing backend services, and optimizing application performance. She has also worked with SIRP, a UK-based cybersecurity services organization, in various engineering and automation roles.With a blend of academic teaching, research, and industry experience, Ms. Sohail brings an interdisciplinary perspective to engineering and computing education, with a focus on emerging technologies, practical learning, and research-driven problem solving.
