Engr. Syed Muhammad Zia Uddin

Engr. Syed Muhammad Zia Uddin is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership within higher education. He specializes in Electrical Engineering with a strong focus on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and Industrial Automation, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

At UIT University, he serves as Assistant Professor, where he plays a key role in delivering outcome-based education, mentoring students, and contributing to academic planning and quality assurance processes.

Beyond teaching and research, he has demonstrated strong leadership in academic administration and student engagement. As a faculty mentor, he actively supports student development through co-curricular and professional activities, fostering innovation and teamwork.

With a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and institutional development, Engr. Zia Uddin continues to contribute towards advancing engineering education and preparing students for emerging technological challenges.
