Faculty Profile

Urooj Mohsin is an experienced academic and finance professional with extensive expertise in teaching, curriculum development, academic governance, and quality assurance in higher education. She is currently serving as a Lecturer at UIT University, Karachi, and holds the role of Cluster Head – Accounting & Finance, contributing to academic leadership, program development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

With over 9 years of teaching experience, her teaching methodology emphasizes practical learning through real-world case studies, Excel-based financial analysis, and the integration of emerging AI tools to enhance analytical and decision-making skills.

She plays an active role in academic governance and institutional development as a member of key bodies including the Board of Studies (BOS), Board of Faculty (BOF), and Examination Committee, contributing to Scheme of Studies development, CLO mappings, assessment frameworks, and program documentation in alignment with HEC and NBEAC standards.

In addition to her academic role, she has international experience as a Senior Assessor at London College of Professional Studies (UK), where she evaluated assignments in accordance with global academic standards such as ATHE and OTHM. Committed to academic excellence and continuous professional development, Urooj Mohsin aims to contribute towards developing industry-ready graduates and strengthening institutional quality standards.
