Marketing/ Alumni Officer

The UIT University (UITU) requires applications for Marketing/Alumni Officer to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the university, its programs, and its brand to prospective students, alumni, and the broader community. This multifaceted position involves developing marketing strategies, creating online content, managing digital campaigns, and actively engaging with alumni to foster a supportive community.Responsibility:

  1. Digital Strategy:
    • Develop marketing strategies for enrollment and engagement.
    • Identify key target audiences.
  2. Content Creation:
    • Create compelling content for website, social media, and email.
    • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  3. Social Media Management:
    • Manage university profiles and engagement.
    • Implement targeted advertising campaigns.
  4. Email Marketing:
    • Execute engaging email campaigns.
    • Segment lists for personalized content.
  5. Analytics and Reporting::
    • Track and analyze campaign performance.
    • Generate regular reports for improvement.
  6. Competitor Analysis:
    • Conduct competitive research.
    • Make data-driven recommendations.
  7. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
    • Implement strategies for user experience.
    • Improve conversion rates.
  8. Community Engagement:
    • Engage with relevant online communities.
    • Promote university values and initiatives.
  9. Alumni Relations:
    • Develop and maintain positive alumni relationships.
    • Share alumni successes within the community.
  10. Event Planning:
    • Organize alumni events and networking activities.
    • Collaborate with departments for aligned events.
  11. Communication and Outreach:
    • Create and manage content for alumni communication.
    • Respond promptly to alumni inquiries.
  12. Database Management:
    • Maintain an accurate alumni database.
  13. Collaboration with Departments:
    • Work closely with academic departments and career services.
    • Identify opportunities for alumni engagement.
  14. Fundraising and Development:
    • Identify potential donors among alumni.
    • Collaborate with the development team.
  15. Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze alumni engagement metrics.
    • Prepare regular reports on participation and feedback.

Eligibility:

The interested candidates shall have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree from HEC-recognized university.Experience:

Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing roles, ideally within the education sector.Skills:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to promoting the university’s mission.
