Media Support Professional
Overview
The UIT University (UITU) requires applications for “Media Support Professional” to assist Corporate Liaison (CL) Department in various media-related activities, including but not limited to Video Editing, Photography, Videography, Video Production and Graphic Designing, etc. The incumbent shall have following qualification and experience:
Specific Skills
- Proven work experience as a Media Support Professional;
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Final Cut);
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio;
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing;
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.

Responsible For
- Edit film pieces in a professional way that is invisible to the audience;
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity;
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film;
- Input music, closed captioning, dialogues, graphics and special effects to a video;
- Create rough and final cuts;
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running;
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process;
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Educational Requirements
BS degree in media sciences, film studies, cinematography or related field from HEC recognized university.
Experience Requirements
Must have 2-5 years’ relevant experience in the media-related activities.
