Data Analyst / Officer Data Analysis (QEC)

Overview

UIT University invites application for the position of “Officer Data Analysis” in the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). The incumbent will be required to assist with all activities undertaken by the QEC office related to University and Programmatic accreditation, both national and international, and working on special projects directed at institutional effectiveness and student affairs.

Specific Skills
  • Skill in implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Practical experience with Quality Management Systems, tools and standards, knowledge of ISO 9001 and Six Sigma implementation techniques.
  • Knowledge of applications of statistical techniques, software and good command on computer applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including tact and diplomacy.
Responsible For
  • To be a focal person for University/Colleges National and International Ranking.
  • To conduct Quality Assurance surveys and prepare evaluation reports.
  • To plan strategy to align university data with HEC and rankings.
  • Monitoring of student feedback and prepare Continuous Quality Improvement plan.
  • To assist QEC in data gathering and compilation of feedback forms, proforma, and related document.
  • To import, clean, transform, or validate data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision-making purposes.
  • To assist Director QEC in campus audits, compilation of data, rewriting of SARs, etc.
  • Responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical tools like Microsoft Excel, SAS, SPSS, and others.
  • To coordinate with automation and web designer to conduct semester-wise students’ feedback.
  • Responsible for developing KPIs within University System for the purpose of identifying trends and evaluating the success of the initiatives taken.
  • To develop models and adhoc reports, sharing observations and recommendations with senior data management, executives, and stakeholders for further consideration.
  • To analyze, interpret, and present the data of Student and Teacher Evaluations.
  • To maintain Excel Dashboards.
  • Any other task assigned by Director QEC.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Masters i.e., MBA/M.Com/MPA/MA/MS/M.Ed/M.Phil or equivalent in the relevant field.
Must have 2-3 years’ relevant experience preferably of educational institution.
