
UIT University and University of Management and Technology (UMT) Explore Opportunities for Strategic Collaboration
On June 11, 2026, Mr. Syed Nasir, representing the Institute of Knowledge and Leadership (IKL) at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), met with Dr. Vali Uddin, Vice Chancellor, UIT University, and Mr. M. Kamran Jamil, Director HR & Administration, UIT University, to discuss areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration.
The meeting focused on strengthening academic and professional partnerships between the two institutions. In turn, UIT University highlighted its extensive expertise in Nano Semiconductor Technology, particularly in chip and semiconductor design through the Microelectronics Research Lab (MERL-UITU). With over seven years of experience in this specialized field, UIT University continues to contribute to technological innovation and advanced research in Pakistan.
