UIT University organized a special Defence Day event on 6 September 2026 to commemorate the courage, sacrifices, and services of Pakistan’s armed forces and to highlight the historical significance of Defence Day of Pakistan.

The event brought together students, faculty members, and distinguished guests to reflect on the importance of 6 September and the values of patriotism, courage, sacrifice, unity, and national service.

The program featured insightful speeches by students and respected guests, who shared their perspectives on the historical significance of Defence Day and paid tribute to the sacrifices made in the service of Pakistan. The speakers also emphasized the importance of remembering the nation’s history and inspiring young generations to contribute positively to the country’s future.

The event provided students with an opportunity to learn about the historical significance of 6 September 1965 and reflect on the spirit of resilience and national unity associated with Defence Day.
