UIT University organized IEEEXtreme Awareness Session 2 to introduce students to the global IEEEXtreme Programming Competition and encourage their participation in an international platform for programming and problem-solving.
The session was led by Proctor Ambassador Syeda Aimen Naseem, Assistant Professor and Student Branch Chair at UIT University, who provided students with an overview of the competition, its format, participation process, and the opportunities it offers for developing programming and analytical skills.
## Introducing Students to IEEEXtreme
The awareness session familiarized students with IEEEXtreme, a global programming competition that challenges participants to solve complex computational problems within a competitive environment. Students were guided on how the competition works, how teams can participate, and what they can expect throughout the competition.
The session also highlighted the value of competitive programming in developing important skills such as logical thinking, problem-solving, algorithmic reasoning, time management, and teamwork.
## Encouraging Programming and Problem-Solving Skills
IEEEXtreme provides students with an opportunity to apply their programming knowledge to real-time problem-solving challenges while competing with participants from around the world. Participation can also help students strengthen their technical capabilities and gain experience in tackling complex programming problems under time constraints.
During the session, students were encouraged to actively participate in the competition and utilize the opportunity to enhance their programming skills while representing UIT University on an international platform.
