It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). The Faculty is committed to preparing technologically proficient, ethical and innovative graduates who can contribute meaningfully to industry, academia, government and society.

FET comprises two departments: Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Engineering Technology. Department of Electrical Engineering has got PEC approvals to offer Bachelor of Engineering programs in the fields of Computer Systems, Electrical, Electronics, Power and Telecommunications. On the other hand, Department of Engineering Technology has been allowed by NTC to currently offer Bachelor of Engineering Technology programs in Computer, Software and Electronics. Overall, these programs provide diverse opportunities across the various engineering and technology fields, with a goal to prepare engineers and engineering technologists who are ready to face future challenges at global level.

In support of the University’s Strategic Plan 2026–2030, FET is committed to enhancing academic quality and innovation, strengthening research and development, improving student experience and outcomes, developing modern infrastructure, and expanding global engagement and partnerships. As technology continues to reshape industry and society, engineering and technology education must remain dynamic and future-oriented. FET therefore strives to cultivate a culture in which students are encouraged not only to understand existing and emerging technologies, but also to innovate, investigate, create and lead. Our programs emphasize not only strong technical foundations, but also leadership and teamwork, and ethical professional practice. We aim to produce graduates who can address complex technical and societal challenges, and work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
