UIT University has commenced its Faculty Development Program (FDP) 2026 as part of its Faculty Engagement Week, reinforcing its commitment to continuous professional development, innovative teaching practices, and academic excellence.

The inaugural session, titled “Connect, Engage & Educate Gen Z,” was conducted by Dr. M. Abdul Hadi, MD, National Institute of Professional Development (NIPD).

The session focused on understanding the evolving characteristics, learning preferences, and expectations of Generation Z (Gen Z) students. Dr. Hadi shared valuable insights and practical strategies to help faculty members build meaningful connections with Gen Z learners and create more engaging, responsive, and effective learning environments.

The session highlighted the importance of adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of today’s digitally connected generation while fostering meaningful interaction, participation, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.
