As part of its 3rd Faculty Engagement Week (FEW) 2026, UIT University organized a Faculty Wellness Retreat on September 7, 2026, at Safari Park, Karachi, bringing together faculty members and staff for a refreshing morning dedicated to physical wellness, team bonding, and workplace well-being.

The retreat commenced with an energetic group walk, encouraging participants to engage in physical activity while enjoying an outdoor environment. The walk was followed by an invigorating Yoga & Wellness Session conducted by Mr. Shahid Khan, Yoga Trainer from The Wonderful Club’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal Chapter.

During the wellness session, participants took part in stretching, breathing exercises, and physical activities designed to promote relaxation, mobility, and overall well-being. The session also introduced simple and practical ways to incorporate healthy movement and wellness practices into everyday routines.

Beyond physical activity, the retreat provided an opportunity for faculty and staff to interact outside the traditional workplace setting, strengthen professional relationships, and foster greater collaboration and team spirit.

The Faculty Wellness Retreat* reflects UIT University’s commitment to creating a healthy, supportive, engaging, and collaborative workplace culture. Recognizing that the well-being and engagement of faculty and staff contribute to a positive academic environment, the initiative supports the university’s broader commitment to institutional development and quality education.
