UIT University recently hosted a comprehensive ππππππ¦π’π ππππππ«π¬π‘π’π© ππ«π¨π π«ππ¦ (πππ) for its senior management, in partnership with the Learning Resource Centre. The program was spearheaded by ππ«. πππ§π’π ππ₯π’ ππππ’π ππ¨π‘ππ¦π¦ππ, a renowned leadership trainer, and aimed at bolstering leadership competencies while offering deep insights into the nuances of governance within the realm of higher education.
The training focused on a multitude of areas to foster strategic management, including decision-making, target-setting, operational efficiency, and conducting productive meetings. It also emphasized the importance of ownership, responsibility, and accountability. Creativity and innovation were key components, alongside enhancing organizational culture and behavior. This included managing procrastination, dealing with work pressure and deadlines, and understanding behavioral psychology. Moreover, the program addressed teamwork and effective supervision, covering aspects such as capacity building for subordinates, mentoring, and setting an example as a role model.
