Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

SDG Goal 5, "Gender equality" aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. This goal emphasizes the importance of ending discrimination and violence against women and girls, ensuring equal participation in leadership and decision-making, and providing access to sexual and reproductive health rights. By addressing these critical issues, Goal 5 seeks to create an inclusive society where both men and women have equal opportunities to thrive, contribute to, and benefit from sustainable development. Achieving gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but also a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world.
